Mecha Gigan
The first half of the mechs are called Mecha Gigan(メカジャイガン Mekajaigan). They're mostly based off of animals and most of them are on self-piloted. Their common name is "Canth".

Neo Mecha Gigan
The second half of the mechs are called Neo Mecha Gigan(ネオメカジャイガン Neomekajaigan) and are stronger versions of the regular Mecha Gigans with stronger firepower, armor, and output. They are also piloted by one of the members of the Big Three. They're mostly based off of combat weapons and equipment while some were inspired by sports. Their common name is "Megas".
