Geba I(ゲバI Geba I) is a Battle Machine that appeared in Episode 24 of Armored Fleet Dairugger XV.
Appearance
Geba I had a dark blue-colored body that holds four, dark gray legs with each one ending with four claws. Geba I has two vents on it’s pecs, a small head that holds two red-colored, beady eyes, a purple stripe on top, an anglerfish-like antenna on top, and lens on each side of the head.
Biography
The Riot On Galveston
After Commander Luciano sends the Gramon Fleet to invade Earth, he watches two Battle Machine within the Frontline Base fighting each other. One of them, named Geba I, is clashing against Merville and starts shooting a laser beam from it’s antenna, only for Merville to block it with one of it’s tentacles. Geba I then gets overwhelmed by Merville’s own laser beams and loses the fight.
The Snare Of The Hell Planet
The Charch Fleet leads the Rugger Team to a planet where the oxygen is sparse with decoy missiles. The planet’s oxygen-sparse atmosphere affects the Walter Team when they explore outside without their helmets on, so they’re sent to the Rugger Guard. However, Kirigas and Nagato were knocked out before they could set their vehicles to remote-control, so the Rugger Guard has to come to the planet to retrieve the two themselves. At this moment, the Charch Fleet start attacking as the Rugger Guard tries to retrieve Rugger 12 and Rugger 13. With the Rugger Guard taking a lot of hits, Captain Charch has Geba I be dispatched into battle to perform the finishing blow. The Aki Team and Keets Team shoot at Geba I as it heads toward Rugger 12 and Rugger 13 to destroy them. Fortunately, the rest of the Walter Team were able to recover enough to launch out in their vehicles and manage to wake Kirigas and Nagato up long enough for Aki to form all the vehicles into Dairugger XV. Dairugger XV and Geba I start fighting each other until the super robot summons the Dairugger Sword and slices the Battle Machine, resulting in it blowing up.
Powers/Abilities
Antenna Laser: Geba I is equipped with an anglerfish-like antenna on top of it’s head that can fire a red beam from the tip.
Burrowing: Geba I is shown to be able to burrow into the ground when it rises out of the ground during it’s second appearance.
Dual Mouth Cannons: Geba I is equipped with two small cannons on each side of it’s “mouth” area that can fire red lasers.
